Sensei is away and back on Monday 24 August. Classes run as normal with the black belts covering. You can still join the waiting list or send a message — he'll reply when he's home.
Code of Conduct – Parents
Parents/guardians are welcome to watch throughout a new student’s free trial month, and at gradings. Outside of those, space in the dojo is limited, so please drop off and collect.
When you are watching, please stay silent and do not distract the students from their training. The same applies to any family members with you, including younger siblings.
Please make sure mobile phones are turned off or put on ‘Silent’ mode during the session.
Encourage your child to learn the rules and work within them.
Discourage unfair play and arguing with instructors.
Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.
Never force your child to take part in a Martial Art.
Set a good example by recognising fair play and applauding the good performances of all.
Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.
Accept the judgements of instructors and officials.
Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their Martial Art.
Use correct and proper language at all times.
Leave the instructing to the instructors.
Contact the instructor if you need to miss classes and/or wish to make up at another time.
