Sensei is away and back on Monday 24 August. Classes run as normal with the black belts covering. You can still join the waiting list or send a message — he'll reply when he's home.

Code of Conduct – Parents

  • Parents/guardians are welcome to watch throughout a new student’s free trial month, and at gradings. Outside of those, space in the dojo is limited, so please drop off and collect.
  • When you are watching, please stay silent and do not distract the students from their training. The same applies to any family members with you, including younger siblings.
  • Please make sure mobile phones are turned off or put on ‘Silent’ mode during the session.
  • Encourage your child to learn the rules and work within them.
  • Discourage unfair play and arguing with instructors.
  • Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.
  • Never force your child to take part in a Martial Art.
  • Set a good example by recognising fair play and applauding the good performances of all.
  • Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.
  • Accept the judgements of instructors and officials.
  • Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their Martial Art.
  • Use correct and proper language at all times.
  • Leave the instructing to the instructors.
  • Contact the instructor if you need to miss classes and/or wish to make up at another time.
